Several years out of college, I find myself in need of a forum for self-assigned writing projects. Admittedly, I find it hard to commit to one slender topic, so I hope to make this blog a place to post about…well…everything.
First and foremost, I am my job. As one of the lucky few who found a career in my desired/intended field, I am a campaign organizer for a national environmental non-profit group. As is often the case in this type of work, I am deeply invested in what I do. For this reason, a portion of this blog will be dedicated to environmental news, both political and whimsical.
When I’m not working, I’m indulging in two of my favorite things: crafting and music. I am both a crafter and a lover of craft. This blog will also serve as a place to show off my own creations, as well as appreciate the creations of fellow indie crafters. Expect lots of pictures!
And don’t forget…no knitting session would be complete without the soothing sounds of my new favorite album. Naturally, I want to share my new discoveries (and old favorites) with the great wide wild web. You’ll see that around here once in awhile too.
Take a look at the list of links on the right side of your screen for some of my favorite things. In addition to the categories I’ve just mentioned, I’ve also listed links to vegetarian and vegan restaurants that I love. They’re delicious, promise.
