Meet my newest love. I’ve been wanting this tattoo for years. Literally years.
For those who are not botanically inclined, it’s a Peony. My parents have them in their backyard, and I’ve adored the fluffy pink flowers forever.

I had a chance encounter with this guy’s portfolio online, and he has good style. I felt way more comfortable with the idea of going to him- someone who has done tattoos similar to the one I want- than going to someone who does a bunch of zombie metal tattoos with very little line work.
I’m sure there are proficient, awesome people much closer to my home than that one, but his visual resume was much more appealing to me.
